Training in group management

Training in group management is not only essential in educational settings. Groups also have an important function in social and political life. Not only due to the obvious social consequences of an education model centered on constructing meaning through interaction and cooperation towards a goal, but also due to the importance of work groups on a task in the life of social communities. The renewal of participatory democracy and the social innovation that it would enable requires two things above all: the initiative and commitment of citizens organized into task-oriented groups; and the commitment of social animators who are capable of facilitating the process of organizing work and directing it towards a result. Officina Formatori has established the Professional Trainer List to provide a formalized professional community for individuals working in this field. The dialogue among members has highlighted the significance of the dimension of a community of practice for our associative identity and training proposal. The reasons for a fall

The meeting on April 20th with Don Corrado Lorefice afforded us the opportunity to read together, along with the friends of the Parrino Foundation, a renowned speech by Giuseppe Dossetti.
On the occasion of the eighth anniversary of Giuseppe Lazzati’s death, on May 18, 1994, Dossetti delivered a speech in Milan entitled “Sentinella, quanto resta della notte?” which was published as “Una Riflessione cristiana sull’Italia di oggi” by Edizioni San Lorenzo in Reggio Emilia in 1994 and as “Riflessioni sulla transizione italiana” by Edizioni lavoro in the same year. The choise of name

The choice of the name dates back to the 2001 workshops mentioned in the website presentation (Why The Dolphin). This decision holds its validity in the new configuration of the site and the experiences it presents. Therefore, let us resort to the description of those early experiences. This site is in fact dedicated, yesterday as today, to the themes of education and the quality of professions (both educational and non-educational) that have a great relevance for the harmonious development of our societies, afflicted by profound inequalities and wide bands of illegality and poverty that require a strong collective commitment.
